Despite countless years of great success and the many recognitions bestowed upon them by Wine Spectator and several other authoritative critics, local producers never gave in to ephemeral euphoria. They have continued their work, always devoting great effort in the improvement of their products. The Selezione dei Vini di Toscana is the ultimate testimony to all of this. One of the principle objectives of the competition is, in fact, to enhance the best regional wine production in order to give it greater visibility in the course of promotional actions to be carried out both in Italy and abroad, and to stir Tuscan producers to achieve an ever higher quality.
